A startup building the "verification layer" for AI-driven biology announced a $20M seed round led by Quiet Capital, with participation from Gradient, Haystack VC, Compound VC and others.

The thesis: AI is rapidly generating biological hypotheses, therapeutic candidates and experimental designs, but our ability to test them in living human biology lags far behind — existing options force a tradeoff between biological relevance and speed/cost. The company aims to build a scalable environment where models can test predictions against living human biology. Vqctran, formerly of Google DeepMind, has joined as a co-founder.
