Monad engineer builds an auto-trading bot on silent model JEV, one decision every 300ms
rickasaurus · x · 2026-09-17
A Monad engineer used the recently viral JEV model to build an auto-trading bot: it reads MON/USDC prices in real time, and JEV—a deliberately 'silent' model—outputs only a Buy/Sell call with a confidence score, then pushes the trade to Kuru's on-chain order book.
The insight: trading doesn't need an LLM writing a research note every 300ms; it needs a fast, cheap loop of market data → decision → order → re-decision. With Monad producing a block every 300ms and Kuru handling execution, the combo already resembles an AI-native trading system.
Takeaway: future trading agents may not need a supermodel that writes reports—they need a brain that can make millions of low-latency judgments in a row.
