Japan's Ugo unveils Nova, a wheeled dual-arm robot with 10kg payload for factories

Japanese robotics company Ugo has introduced Nova, a wheeled dual-arm semi-humanoid robot designed for manufacturing, factories, and warehouses.
Key specs:
- 4kg payload per arm, up to 10kg with both arms
- 22 degrees of freedom, adjustable height from 126–162cm
- Mecanum-wheel base enabling sideways, diagonal, and in-place movement
- Supports both autonomous operation and teleoperation
The predecessor Ugo Pro, already serving at Kumamoto International Airport and Osaka High-Speed Railway, can autonomously navigate and operate elevators with 4 hours of battery life; Nova targets industrial settings.
