XPeng unveils XPACE, a unified embodied world model powering its IRON humanoid

XPeng has revealed the brain of its IRON humanoid for the first time: XPACE, a unified embodied world model whose shared video backbone learns both what the robot should do and what the world will look like after it acts.
Training uses 5,000 hours of embodied video combining human egocentric footage, human video-action data, human-robot bridge data, and IRON teleoperation — human experience expands behavioral coverage while robot data grounds executable control.
The standout: XPACE's world simulator can perturb expert trajectories, simulate deviation and recovery, filter generated examples, and feed those recoveries back into policy training — generating new recovery experience from its own simulator instead of relying only on recorded demonstrations.
