Nature study transplants human cortical organoids into mice with large-scale brain integration

A new Nature study introduces "developmental xenocortication": human cortical organoids were transplanted into mice whose endogenous cortex was largely genetically depleted, achieving extended large-scale integration of human brain tissue. The team recorded brain-wide activity of human cells in living mice.
