NVIDIA's SOMA Retargeter update adds Robot Configurator for humanoid motion transfer

David Rempe announced a new version of NVIDIA's open-source SOMA Retargeter.
- The library converts human motion in SOMA-skeleton BVH files into joint animations (CSV) for humanoid robots, feeding downstream control and simulation tools; it's in active beta.
- The headline feature is Robot Configurator, which creates reusable retargeting setups for new humanoids, making it easier to bring motions from Kimodo and ARDY to robots.
- Built with Newton and NVIDIA Warp, the project is on GitHub (570 stars); generated motion is kinematic, so safety and feasibility must be validated in simulation before hardware use.
