ChainForge v0.3.7 adds RAGForge pipelines, in-browser LLMs and PDF uploads
IanArawjo · x · 2026-09-17
Open-source prompt/RAG experimentation tool ChainForge shipped v0.3.7, its biggest update in a while:
- RAGForge: new Upload, Chunk, Retrieval and Rerank nodes let you compare RAG pipelines side by side the way you already compare prompts (e.g., two chunkers vs three retrievers). A zero-install browser "lite" mode supports PDF/DOCX/Markdown, BM25 and semantic search, and cross-encoder reranking.
- Other improvements: in-browser LLMs like Qwen with no API key, reasoning tokens, OpenRouter API, grid views of 1000+ images, and document uploads; pip install chainforge[rag] unlocks more advanced server-side chunkers and retrievers.
