Based on recent first-hand experience, the author predicts a rise in AI-agent-to-agent negotiation ("Claude-on-Claude"). Lawyers will have plenty of work, but not the kind corporate value chains are currently structured for.
In a follow-up, the author argues elite "white shoe" firms may even see a windfall as AI-error consequences get litigated — they're selling scarce brand trust — while the rest of the legal services market is less fortunate.
