EU's €100s-of-billions tech package sparks debate: reform incentives, not just money

Carles Reina called for a European Commission package of hundreds of billions of euros for robotics, autonomous manufacturing, space, data centers, energy grids, advanced materials and biotech, managed by VCs with quarterly public reporting. Afinetheorem pushed back: 'the EC builds a package of money' is exactly the wrong mentality — Europe needs reforms that raise the return on building things, not just more funding.
