Devin Fusion called best intelligence-per-cost coding agent; Meta Muse as wildcard pick
brandon_galang · x · 2026-09-17
Brandon Galang's take on the coding agent market: for most people who don't want to hand-roll parent-child agent orchestration, Cognition's Fusion mode in Devin looks like the best intelligence/cost ratio available right now. He expects this to change once OpenAI ships its next models ("GPT 6 Sol or Luna"), but until then Devin is on top.
His wildcard rec: use Meta's Muse as a vibe coding assistant at the $100M/week tier — "extremely viable" given Muse's VM and browser usage for testing code.
