xAI introduced Memory in Grok Build, letting the coding agent carry knowledge across sessions.
Key points:
- Remembers coding conventions, decisions, reasoning and project facts; captures notes in the background after each turn
- Per-project memories plus global preferences; excludes secrets, temporary status and info already in project files
- Memories saved as Markdown; /dream auto-organizes notes into topic files, /memory lets users browse them
