Distributed computing could win the compute crisis as TEEs solve privacy

Arguing that if AI demand keeps outpacing compute supply, distributed/decentralized general-purpose computing will rise again. Privacy is nearly solved via TEEs/Secure Enclave, and consumer or pre-purchased hardware could make cost competitive. The author caveats that AGI would need new computing primitives or architectures to lift the bottleneck, but remains bullish: "age of abundance."
