Anthropic merges Claude Cowork with chat into one Claude for Pro and Max

Anthropic announced that Claude Cowork and chat are merging into a single Claude: users can ask quick questions or hand over a report and Claude takes it from there, even continuing after the laptop closes, asking clarifying questions while the user keeps final say. The rollout reaches Pro and Max subscribers over the next few weeks. One user noted this is easier for Claude since usage is already shared between Cowork and chat.
