Backflip: Apple now wants to train AI models with user data after all

Per a heise report, Apple — which long refused to use user data for AI training on privacy grounds — is now reversing course and plans to train its AI models with user data. The policy flip raises privacy questions about consent and what anonymization or synthetic-data mechanisms Apple will use, with details still to be confirmed by the company.
