Fintech company Mercury launched Mercury Books, AI-powered accounting software that categorizes and reconciles transactions the moment they happen, targeting both bookkeepers and business owners — a direct challenge to QuickBooks.
Team member andyhsuco described building a full-blown accounting product from scratch and reimagining accounting from the ground up as a year-long 0-to-1 effort.
