Closed-room Hong Kong robotics workshop tackles foundation models, data engines, deployment
paigeinsf · x · 2026-09-17
Fabric Foundation ran a closed-room working session in Hong Kong last Friday covering the full robotics stack: foundation models, data engines, hardware, and on-site deployment. Researchers and builders from multiple cities joined; discussion stayed technical, spanning distribution shift, contact-rich control, data pipelines, and the gap between lab prototypes and systems that survive outside campus. A recap is available.
