A maker unveiled MOSS, a litter-picking rover costing under $1,000 and mostly 3D-printed. Its arm is derived from the SO-101 with a parallel gripper from normacoredev.
The author plans to open-source the design and document the build so others can replicate and improve it. Next steps: printing, assembly, and real roadside testing — teleoperation first via dimensionalos to collect data.
