Atom goes live on Stripe's Machine Payments Protocol, letting AI agents buy domains autonomously
jeff_weinstein · x · 2026-09-16
Domain platform Atom is now live on Stripe and Tempo's Machine Payments Protocol, closing the loop on agentic commerce. Atom launched an MCP server earlier this year so agents could search, appraise, and check domains; with MPP, an agent gets a price, receives a 402, pays automatically, and the domain lands in its user's account — no checkout page, no human in the loop. Registrations and premium marketplace domains are supported today.
