Paper2Agent turns research papers into interactive AI agents (Nature)
EricTopol · x · 2026-09-16
A Nature paper from James Zou's team introduces Paper2Agent, an automated framework that converts research papers into AI agents acting as virtual corresponding authors. It uses multiple agents to build an MCP server from the paper and codebase, then generates and runs tests to harden it — turning papers, data, code and workflows into active, agent-native knowledge.
