BackOps AI raises $42M Series B, cuts supply chain workflows from 28 hours to 14 minutes
AiBreakfast · x · 2026-09-16
Supply chain automation startup BackOps AI announced a $42M Series B led by Insight Partners, just six months after its $26M Series A.
- Problem: companies making and moving physical goods still rely on people stitching together ERPs, WMSs, TMSs, carrier portals, email, and spreadsheets.
- Approach: BackOps sits across that ecosystem, gathers context, makes decisions, takes action, and carries work through to resolution.
- Results: one process went from 28 hours to 14 minutes; a single customer has processed 500K+ items since the Series A.
- Moat thesis: as models get better and cheaper, the biggest moat will be proprietary data created by actually doing the work.
