QwenLM/qwen-code released v0.24.0 with a breaking fix to how bash expands project directory variables in command hooks (#11864).
Key additions:
- Hook system upgrades: full /hooks dialog in OpenTUI and hook progress events
- Extensions can ship dynamic workflows; daemon enumerates installed extension skills locally
- Per-session cap on websearch calls; workflows share a per-turn token budget via a +Nk directive
- New bwrap kernel sandbox backend for Linux and budget-based ACP child admission in serve
- Shared output modes for channels with DingTalk support, external reasoning profiles, and web-shell UX improvements
Overall a solid engineering release focused on hooks, extensions, sandboxing, and budget controls.
