Tencent open-sourced BrowserSkill, a bridge between AI agents and your real browser, already at 2.1k GitHub stars.
- Core idea: while most tools give agents a blank browser, BrowserSkill lets an agent borrow a tab from your actual browser and hand it back, with login state already in place
- Human-in-the-loop: CAPTCHAs and confirmation dialogs go back to the user, then the agent resumes
- CLI, not an MCP server: any shell-capable agent can use it, and every call is visible to you
- Safety: agents must ask before borrowing a tab; the toggle lives in browser settings rather than a flag, so it can't be talked around via prompts
- One-line install; works with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, CodeBuddy, Hermes Agent, and more
