testingcatalog · x · 2026-09-16
Apodex has open-sourced its agent framework FrontierAgent under Apache 2.0 (3.3k stars on GitHub). It supports single-agent ReAct and multi-agent Agent Team modes, installs with one command on macOS and Linux, and Docker is optional.
Also released is Apodex 1.1 mini, a 35B open-weight model that runs the same setup locally. In one official test, Apodex 1.1 executed 395 steps across 28 sources, returned a 31 KB report, and its Statement Review checked 51 claims against sources, correcting two before delivery.
