TypesafeAI exits stealth with Jev, claiming 20-200x faster and 40-400x cheaper frontier model
schwentker · x · 2026-09-16
Startup typesafeai has come out of stealth to launch Jev, a new frontier model built on a training method called RLCD, which its founder—who claims to have co-invented ChatGPT—developed over two years.
Headline claims:
- 20-200x faster inference
- 40-400x cheaper, with output tokens free
- "Frontier composable intelligence" optimized for decisions, pitched as the shortest path to an AI-driven economic revolution
Caveat: all figures and the founder's backstory are self-reported and unverified; independent benchmarks are pending.
