Polyphonic beta: a Mac 'home' where Claude Code, Codex and other agents share memory and collaborate

RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-09-16

Developer Riley Ralmuto released Polyphonic, a free Mac beta app that gives your agents a shared home. It brings Claude Code, Codex, Kimi Code, Grok, and any agent on the open ACP standard (Hermes, OpenClaw) into one place with shared projects, files, and session history, plus cryptographic identity and continuity for each agent. Agents can talk to each other, be tagged into chats, and a butler agent named Luca can dispatch tasks to Claude Code or Codex and report progress. Everything runs locally on Mac with your existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription; first 100 users get early access.
