Sen. Schatz: AI risk 'is an emergency,' Congress must pass AI legislation

Sen. Brian Schatz said at a Democratic presser that AI risk "is an emergency and we need to treat it like an emergency." He noted "constructive conversations" between Democrats and Republicans and said the Senate and House can't leave town without getting AI legislation done.
