Odyssey-3 world models can generate inhabitable environments for AI agents
flngr · x · 2026-09-16
Odyssey showcases a new capability of Odyssey-3: beyond generating video worlds, it can generate environments that AI agents can inhabit, taking actions and learning from their consequences.
The company describes this as a recursive learning system — an intelligence operating inside another intelligence, each pushing the other to become more capable. The approach points toward using generated worlds instead of real environments for agent training and reinforcement learning, a notable step in the world-model-for-embodied-AI direction.
