Odyssey-3 world model spans humanoids to drones; driving model trained on just 20h data
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-09-16
Odyssey released Odyssey-3, a foundation world model that works across very different bodies — humanoids, robot arms, cars, drones, and virtual characters.
The approach: first train one model to understand how the world works (object motion, human behavior, action consequences), then use a relatively small amount of data to teach it to operate a new body. Their driving model, for instance, was trained with just 20 hours of simulated driving data.
The model doesn't relearn everything per body; new data mainly teaches it how to use that particular embodiment. The author likens it to Westworld's Rehoboam: one intelligence, many bodies.
