Apptronik and Agility on robot safety: the path home runs through industry

Agility Robotics CBO Daniel Diez told Bloomberg that what robots need before entering homes is cooperative safety — the ability to work in close proximity with people — and "the path to getting to the home is through industry." Apptronik's Kyle Morgenstein agreed, stressing that functional safety is much harder than most "physical AI" companies suggest. Comments relate to Agility's newly announced Digit 5.
