Instacart founder hiring Head of Technical Investing after betting on Cognition and SSI
ericjang11 · x · 2026-09-16
Apoorva Mehta (Instacart founder) says his work at Abundance shaped his view that long-running agents, continuous improvement, and proprietary data will transform entire industries — leading him to invest in Cognition, SSI, Instinct, Forus, and Trajectory. He is hiring a Head of Technical Investing to own sourcing and evaluation of opportunities, investigate tech and business independently, and deliver well-supported investment recommendations. Former founders especially welcome. Eric Jang endorses the role.
