Per SCMP, a DeepSeek engineer slammed Anthropic and OpenAI over their calls to 'pace' AI development, comparing the prospect of Anthropic controlling the most advanced AI to Nazi Germany acquiring nuclear weapons before the Allies. He cited a belief in inclusive, open-source AI as a reason he stayed at DeepSeek. The retweeter adds: why hasn't Nvidia compliance done more to stop DeepSeek from acquiring thousands of export-controlled chips?
