Compound Engineering v3.26 ships multi-model design bake-offs and annotatable web prototypes
kieranklaassen · x · 2026-09-16
Every released Compound Engineering v3.26, a skill set that plugs into your existing coding agent around a Plan→Work→Review→Compound loop — lessons learned get written down so the next run starts ahead.
Highlights:
- ce-prototype now supports annotations: interactively comment on generated web prototypes and send the set back to the agent for another iteration — great for nuanced UI feedback
- ce-bakeoff: a new skill that gets multi-model proposals on architecture or design, with ce-plan automatically running a bake-off across 3 different models
- New website
Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Kimi Code CLI, Devin CLI, GitHub Copilot and many more hosts; two commands to install on Claude Code. Deeper posts, videos and possibly a livestream coming this week.
