Helion Energy announced the final close of its upsized, oversubscribed Series G at $500M. After an initial close earlier this summer, the round added crossover, pension and sovereign wealth investors. CEO David Kirtley said technical milestones remain the priority, but the round signals growing demand for fusion energy and confidence in Helion's ability to deliver power to the grid.
