LlamaIndex on Building SDKs with Stainless, Whose Team Joined Anthropic

LlamaIndex reflected on using Stainless to generate SDKs for LlamaParse: keeping SDKs current is painful, since every API change triggers another round of updates, tests and releases, and each SDK should still feel written by someone who actually uses the language. Stainless helped them do that, and pushed them to improve the API itself, because inconsistent names and schemas are harder to ignore once they show up in code developers use.
With the Stainless team joining Anthropic, George He and Yong Park wrote about what worked, what they learned, and why changing SDK generators takes more care than expected. LlamaIndex thanked the Stainless team and said au revoir.
