Unitree upgrades G1 humanoid after 18,000+ units sold, G1+ adds torque and sensing

Two years after launch and 18,000+ units sold, Unitree is upgrading its G1 humanoid to G1+, aiming to make it practical beyond a research platform. Upgrades include a 2-DOF neck, 110% higher peak torque in shoulders and waist, 43% higher arm torque, lower motor heat at the same torque, stereo plus wide-angle vision, head touch sensing, a 6-mic array with louder speakers, and external power support for longer operation.
