Light Origins' humanoid parkour policy picks walk, vault or climb with onboard sensing only

Light Origins unveiled Light-Loco-Parkour, a humanoid robot policy that autonomously traverses complex environments using only onboard sensing. Unlike most work relying on large motion corpora, it learns from sparse seeds when to walk, vault, climb or otherwise traverse — no sub-task labels required. The work was discussed in episode 104 of the RoboPapers podcast with authors Xiaodao Chen and Yuntao.
