Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) has been fully decompiled to C — done by Fable-5.1 in under a week. A Shift-JIS debug string was decoded as "The Professor is an iiiidiot!!!". For comparison, the Melee decompilation took dozens of people six years to reach 100%, on the same console with a similar compiler. The author details in follow-ups how agents rebuilt the toolchain themselves.
