Boltz Becomes a Programmable Protein Editor: GFP In-Painting Verified by Protenix and SimpleFold

Boltz's API now supports protein fusion, in-painting, and sequence redesign, turning it from a binder-design tool into something closer to a programmable protein editor.
A shared demo shows the workflow in Codex Rosalind Workbench: a section of GFP was masked and replaced with an ALFA nanobody tag, with newly generated flanking sequences guided by the shape of the GFP barrel. ByteDance's Protenix and Apple's SimpleFold were then used as independent structural checks against the Boltz-generated models and wild-type GFP, and GPT 6 Astra produced a video walkthrough of the workflow.
