Replit Launches Free Mode, Ending the Era of Users Priced Out of AI Coding

Replit CEO amasad announced a free mode, saying it was painful to watch users get priced out of AI coding and that it's now "free to build again." Kyrannio called it the best thing Replit has done and argues current pricing is a great deal overall, while warning development costs will rise as newer models ship.
