Formas launches Cartesian, an AI 3D modeling tool turning photos and sketches into editable CAD solids
carlosbannon · x · 2026-09-15
Formas unveiled Cartesian, an AI 3D modeling tool for architecture and product design. Users generate models from prompts, sketches, or photos, with precise editability: keep specified elements while changing the rest, inspect and measure exact solids and clean topology (no polygon-mesh approximations), and structured BIM data via named elements and explicit relationships. Examples span furniture, interiors, and full buildings, exportable as 3DM/STL to SketchUp, Rhino, or any CAD. Free waitlist is open.
