Developer tonysimons' community plugin hermes-newswire has been merged into the official NousResearch/hermes-agent plugin catalog by Teknium. The plugin adds a persistent scrolling breaking-news ticker above the Hermes Desktop statusbar, powered by a model-free RSS/Atom/JSON-Feed engine: zero API keys, zero model tokens, offline cache, built-in feed discovery, and a full management page. A neat pattern for giving agents a live wire desk without burning tokens.
