Box CEO Aaron Levie: we're only 1% into agentic workloads, background agent volume will be 100X
jobergum · x · 2026-09-15
Box CEO Aaron Levie argues we need to update expectations for agentic workloads: with agent swarms, better computer use, the next wave of APIs and MCPs, new form factors like Muse or Instinct, vertical enterprise agents, and background workflow agents, agents will handle 100X more information-gathering and work volume than today's single-session prompting. Elastic CEO adds we're only 1% into the shape of agent deployment, management and budgeting — but it will inevitably happen at previously unfathomable scale.
