ChatGPT Plus user: fragmented apps and usage limits make it unreliable for real work
dictionizzle · reddit · 2026-09-15
A two-year ChatGPT Plus subscriber says the product has become unreliable for actual work: the Work agent consumes the same 5-hour usage bucket as normal thinking/coding, the macOS app has UI bugs, Android sometimes returns worse responses under the same model label, and custom GPTs have grown unpredictable since August. They don't want to switch to Gemini (worse in places) or Claude (expensive limits), and ask OpenAI to fix bugs, unify the experience, exempt Work agent from the 5h bucket, and give Plus users reliable unlimited access to a mid-tier frontier model.
