Google quietly released Alpha Genome Atlas, a predictive map of every possible human DNA mutation

The author argues Google released a potentially Nobel-worthy tool that almost nobody noticed: Alpha Genome Atlas, a predictive map covering every possible DNA letter change in the human genome.
The genome is the instruction manual for cells, and the tool can take any region of a genome sequence and predict what happens if you mutate it — shifting genetics from a reactive science to a predictive one. Research that previously relied only on historical literature and known data can now use AlphaGenome's predictive maps to explore entirely new, unstudied pathways. Link included.
