Indie dev unveils Mentor, an ambient screen-aware AI assistant reusing Codex/Claude subscriptions
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-09-15
Indie developer RileyRalmuto revealed Prompt Ghost (renaming to Mentor), an ambient intelligence app that sees your screen, interacts with and annotates anything on it, and learns your habits over time to predict requests. It reuses existing Codex or Claude subscriptions instead of requiring a new API key. A companion version ships with Polyphonic; spatial accuracy of annotations is still being improved.
