Researcher open-sources theseus, a human-language architecture research framework
pratyusha_PS · x · 2026-09-15
houjunliu open-sourced theseus (Jemoka/thx), the system they use for neural architecture research. It's a template repo you use by cloning, managed with uv, with install groups for CUDA 12/13, TPUs and CPU.
Its pitch: run architecture research driven by human-language descriptions. Performance is modest — mid-20s MFU on a normal day, high-30s on a good day — but it's simple and usable, and the author invites feedback from anyone who tries it.
