A Musashi-inspired prompt to expose your over-reliance on one AI tool
alex_verem · x · 2026-09-15
@alexprompter built a prompt based on Miyamoto Musashi's rule from The Book of Five Rings: "you should not have a favourite weapon." Musashi fought 62 duels unbeaten and counted over-familiarity with one weapon as serious a fault as not knowing it.
The prompt works on your go-to AI model, default app, habitual marketing channel, or meeting style. You paste your work description and default tools, and the AI walks through your five most common tasks, asking which weapon you chose and why, to expose comfortable single-point dependencies. Template is copy-paste ready.
