Claude Code CLI 2.1.271 is out with 96 changes.
Highlights:
- Fast mode in Remote sessions (cloud and self-hosted runners): host fast-mode setting or /fast reduces response latency where the org allows.
- Per-command alloweddomains for Bash, PowerShell and Monitor in auto-sandboxing mode — only the hosts a command needs are opened, everything else is refused.
- Org-policy cache cleared after account/API-key switch so rules refresh immediately.
- New claude self-hosted-runner --drain-marker-file for reporting host drains on SIGTERM (telemetry only).
- Mouse support in the fullscreen /config panel, and omitClaudeMd in agent frontmatter so custom/plugin subagents can run without loading CLAUDE.md.
