Ascended humans don't quite make sense: boundedness is the root of human values

In a discussion with @eternalism4eva, voooooogel pushes back on "ascended humans" and much of cognitive transhumanism: what makes human cognition human is its boundedness, low bandwidth and very particular implementations — the texture of human experience and, he argues, the root of our values.
He asks whether there are really zero path dependencies from growing out of a baseline human brain, which he finds hard to believe. Still, he says he can relate to an LLM far more than to a scratch-trained RL agent, despite the copying and multiple instances.
