Nvidia, Palantir, Booz Allen reportedly curb Anthropic Fable over data-retention fears

The Information reports that Nvidia, Palantir, and Booz Allen are restricting or blocking Anthropic's Fable model over concerns about retaining sensitive corporate data.
- Anthropic introduced rolling 30-day usage logs for safety monitoring in June; a planned option for eligible customers to self-store logs can reportedly still be revoked.
- Palantir is withholding Fable from its platform until it gets irrevocable zero-data-retention guarantees. Nvidia limits Fable to less sensitive work and uses its own Nemotron for sensitive internal projects. Booz Allen excludes Fable from work involving its proprietary cybersecurity software.
